Delightful Summer Arrivals...a new donkey and beautiful cows

We awoke on Thursday last week to this adorable sweetheart colt who has already been named Puck! He is an unusual beastie with his white blaze and three white hooves and socks. His mother is Paloma a grey donkey and his father Rupert is a mushroom dun and has the spotty gene with a white blaze himself and dark spots on his muzzle.

Very proud father Rupert and mother Paloma with baby Puck between!

Our new moos...Valencia and Victoria who are exquisite Charolaix cows who we herded with GREAT difficulty from Nieuwedam Farm...

And our proud new Nguni Bull called Ferdinand who came from Fritz over the hill..seen here before he leaves his old family...

And now with his new moo family on our farm....

The whole happy herd settled in and enjoying their bovine peace!
