Donkey Dreaming

Some recent animal events on the farm..... The donkeys were invited to participate in a photography session by the illustrious photographer, artist and award winning film maker Kali van der Merwe who is also my dear friend. She is a 'wonder woman' photographer working on a book about fynbos flowers in all their sensual exquisite beauty...more about this in a later post. It occurred to me that Kali and Ms Georgia O'Keeffe have something very much in common they love 'peering deep into flowers' and they even sometimes have similarities of dress.... The donkeys were highly honoured and posed most gently and graciously while Kali wove between them capturing their lovely eye makeup and oh such gentle sweet expressions and eye reflections...it took a few moves from Kali ....and the momps, Pablo and Rupert,....and she got her stunning Donkey Dreaming photographs which will be sold in aid of the Cart Horse Protection Association.These are my pictures of them in action.
